- …and now for the question: the Woodstock Film Festival is coming together. What about Woodstock2.0, which is scheduled for the same place/time? Haven’t seen any developments and can’t get into the wiki. Anyone?
sorry to report…despite some valiant efforts on several fronts, I couldn’t pull Woodstock 2.0 Expo together for this year. My hope is to make it happen in the future and perhaps as early as next year.

cross-post from mah blog:
(I hope you can make it)
In March of 2007 on a visit to upstate NY, I had a vision of bringing a web-focused un-conference confab to the town I’ve grown to love… WOODSTOCK!
Targeted for an October release in conjunction with the Woodstock Film Festival, the early passion and momentum wasn’t enough to get it launched.
No tears… through those early discussions, I’ve made great friends and colleagues who continue to be passionate about this space.
I’m back in town … and will be hosting a couple pizzas and the first round of beers for my friends in the area who want to join me and talk about the future of the web on January 16, 2008 @ 8PM. It’ll be a late night… a cold one too! :*)
RSVP via the Facebook event page

We’ll also attempt to use the intertubes to remote access Twiistup 3 (which I encourage you to check out if you’re on the west-coast.)
Hotel recommendation for those driving up from NYC: The Woodstock Inn
(If you’re interested in sponsoring the drinks or the pizzas, drop me a note.)
